Hand-Forged Goliya Sword – Curved Sarabloh Blade with Wooden Scabbard
This is an elegantly made sword with a distinctive curved blade and traditional design. Forged using ancient blacksmithing methods, it features a hot-tempered Sarabloh (carbon steel) blade, showcasing natural hammer patterns that run along its length.
The hilt is meticulously crafted with a smooth, curved handguard — offering both visual appeal and a firm grip. It comes sheathed in a snug-fitting wooden scabbard wrapped in rexin cord, blending strength with aesthetic design.
Specifications:
- Blade Material: Hand-forged Sarabloh (carbon steel)

- Blade Width: 1.2 inches (1.8 inches with scabbard)

Craftsmanship:
Each blade is hand-forged by skilled artisans and tempered 10–12 times in a single heat-treatment process. Hammered into form with molten steel, the edges are blunt (for compliance with Indian legal norms) but can be sharpened upon request.
The hilt and blade are oxy-welded together and strengthened using traditional “laakh” — a time-tested bonding method for added durability.
